NoPixel GTA 6: Is NoPixel Coming to GTA VI?
NoPixel is working directly with Rockstar Games on the future of GTA roleplay. But does that mean NoPixel is coming to GTA 6?
Is NoPixel coming to GTA 6?
NoPixel has not announced a GTA 6 roleplay server. However, NoPixel is now officially working with Rockstar Games on the future of GTA RP, making it one of the most important communities to watch as GTA VI approaches.
The confusion largely comes from NoPixel V, the next generation of NoPixel. Despite the name and its timing ahead of GTA VI, NoPixel V is a Grand Theft Auto V roleplay experience. It is not NoPixel for GTA 6.
What makes NoPixel V particularly significant is that it is being created in collaboration with Rockstar Games and is coming to the Rockstar Games Launcher and other PC platforms.
What is NoPixel V?
NoPixel V is the next evolution of the NoPixel GTA V roleplay experience and follows NoPixel 4.0, which launched in December 2023.
NoPixel announced the project in September 2025 and confirmed that it was being created in collaboration with Rockstar Games. Rockstar publicly backed the project, describing its involvement as supporting the NoPixel team as they work on the future of GTA RP.
This represents a major change for GTA roleplay. NoPixel grew as a community-run RP server using FiveM, but its next major version is now being developed with the company behind Grand Theft Auto itself.
When does NoPixel V launch?
NoPixel V is expected to enter a closed beta on September 8, 2026, initially with a limited group of invited players and creators.
The beta is expected to expand through additional phases rather than immediately opening the server to everybody. NoPixel Public and NoPixel 4.0 are also expected to remain available during the rollout.
NoPixel has not yet announced a date for unrestricted public access to NoPixel V.
NoPixel V streamers
NoPixel V is heavily focused on creators, with hundreds of players already revealed for the new server.
Confirmed creators include major Twitch and streaming personalities from both inside and outside the existing GTA RP community.
The streams above show Twitch creators currently streaming GTA V with NoPixel in their stream title. As NoPixel V launches, GTA Genius will update its stream tracking to make it easier to find creators playing on the new server.
We’re also tracking creators likely to be important when the next generation arrives on our GTA 6 RP streamers page.
Why is Rockstar working with NoPixel?
NoPixel has played a major role in turning GTA roleplay into a mainstream form of Grand Theft Auto entertainment.
For years, some of the biggest creators on Twitch have played characters on NoPixel. The stories created on the server regularly attract audiences far beyond the people actually playing GTA V.
Rockstar’s relationship with the wider RP community changed significantly in 2023 when it acquired Cfx.re, the team responsible for FiveM and RedM. FiveM is the platform used by NoPixel and many other GTA V roleplay servers.
The combination of Rockstar owning the FiveM team and now directly collaborating with NoPixel shows that roleplay has become an important part of the wider Grand Theft Auto ecosystem. Read our GTA 6 FiveM guide for what Rockstar’s ownership of Cfx.re could mean for GTA VI.
Does NoPixel V run on GTA 6?
No. NoPixel V is currently a GTA V roleplay project.
The “V” refers to the new generation of NoPixel and should not be interpreted as confirmation of a GTA VI server.
Grand Theft Auto VI itself launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced GTA VI roleplay support, a GTA VI version of FiveM, or a NoPixel server running on GTA VI.
Could NoPixel eventually move to GTA 6?
It is certainly possible, but right now it would be speculation to say that it will.
NoPixel is one of the world’s best-known GTA roleplay communities, Rockstar owns the team behind FiveM, and Rockstar is now directly collaborating with NoPixel. Those are significant connections.
But none of them amount to an announcement of NoPixel GTA 6.
There are also technical questions to answer. GTA VI currently has no announced PC version, while modern NoPixel and FiveM operate on PC. We’ve covered that problem separately in our GTA 6 RP on PC guide.
Rockstar has also not explained whether GTA VI will eventually support community servers, whether FiveM will support GTA VI, or whether an entirely new system will replace the current model. Our GTA 6 RP servers page tracks confirmed server developments without treating speculative communities as real GTA VI servers.
Until Rockstar, Cfx.re or NoPixel makes an announcement, there is no confirmed way to play NoPixel on GTA 6.
Can I join NoPixel V?
NoPixel V is initially being rolled out through limited access rather than as an open public server. NoPixel’s official creator roster describes access as invitation-only and currently lists hundreds of confirmed players.
If you’re looking for the existing server instead, read our NoPixel GTA RP guide or check out the NoPixel Public server and live streamers.
What does NoPixel V mean for GTA 6 RP?
NoPixel V doesn’t confirm GTA 6 RP, but it gives us one of the clearest indications yet that Rockstar sees community roleplay as an important part of Grand Theft Auto’s future.
Rockstar now owns Cfx.re, supports the FiveM ecosystem and is collaborating directly with the biggest name in GTA RP. That is a very different situation from when GTA V originally launched in 2013.
The big unanswered question is whether Rockstar eventually brings that ecosystem to GTA VI — and, if it does, when GTA 6 RP could actually become available.
