How to Join NoPixel in 2026: NoPixel V, Public & Applications

Want to join NoPixel? The way you get into the GTA RP server depends on which version of NoPixel you want to play.

The new NoPixel V launched on September 8, 2026 as an invite-only closed beta, which means you cannot currently submit a public application and immediately join NoPixel V. However, NoPixel’s existing GTA V ecosystem also includes a Public server that provides another way to experience NoPixel roleplay.

This guide explains the current ways to play NoPixel, what you need before joining, whether NoPixel is free, how server priority works and what we know about wider access to NoPixel V.

How do you join NoPixel?

There isn’t one universal NoPixel application that gives you access to every server. NoPixel currently operates different GTA RP experiences with different levels of access.

  • NoPixel V: The newest generation of NoPixel. Access is currently limited and available by invitation only.
  • NoPixel 4.0 Allow List: NoPixel’s established allowlisted GTA RP server.
  • NoPixel Public: The public side of the existing NoPixel GTA V ecosystem.

If your main goal is to play the brand-new NoPixel V server you’ve been watching on Twitch, the important thing to understand is that NoPixel V is not currently open to everyone.

How to join NoPixel V

NoPixel V is currently an invite-only closed beta.

The server launched on September 8, 2026 as the next major evolution of NoPixel’s GTA V roleplay experience, created in collaboration with Rockstar Games.

Unlike traditional NoPixel servers, invited NoPixel V players access the closed beta through the Rockstar Games Launcher.

NoPixel has been revealing invited creators and players through its official roster. There are hundreds of invited players, but appearing on that roster requires an invitation from NoPixel.

There is currently no public NoPixel V application that guarantees access to the closed beta.

If you see a website, video or social media post claiming there is a simple public application that will get you into NoPixel V immediately, be careful. NoPixel’s official information continues to describe access as limited and invitation-only.

For everything else we know about the new server, see our complete NoPixel V guide.

When will NoPixel V be public?

NoPixel has not announced a date for public NoPixel V access.

Rockstar has confirmed that there will be future news about expanded access to NoPixel V, which means the initial invitation-only closed beta is not necessarily the final access model.

However, neither Rockstar nor NoPixel has announced when expanded access will arrive, whether it will involve applications, or whether NoPixel V will eventually operate a public server similar to the existing NoPixel Public experience.

We’ll update this guide when NoPixel announces an official route for more players to join.

Can anyone play NoPixel?

NoPixel V is invitation-only, but that doesn’t mean every NoPixel experience is restricted to invited streamers and creators.

NoPixel’s existing GTA V ecosystem includes a Public server. NoPixel’s official forums continue to list its Public GTA RP server alongside its 4.0 Allow List server.

This makes NoPixel Public particularly relevant if you’ve discovered NoPixel through Twitch but aren’t one of the players invited into NoPixel V.

You can also see who’s currently playing on our NoPixel Public streamers page.

What do you need to play NoPixel?

For NoPixel’s traditional GTA V servers, you’ll need a PC capable of running GTA V and FiveM.

FiveM is the Cfx.re multiplayer modification framework for Grand Theft Auto V. It allows players to connect to customized dedicated GTA V servers and is the platform behind a huge part of the modern GTA RP community.

You’ll also need to create and sign into the relevant accounts used by NoPixel and FiveM.

NoPixel’s current rules also require players to be 18 or older and have a working, good-quality microphone. NoPixel is built around voice roleplay, so a microphone is an essential part of playing.

Do you need FiveM to play NoPixel?

For traditional NoPixel GTA V servers, yes. NoPixel’s existing Public ecosystem uses FiveM, and its official Public store connects players through their FiveM/Cfx.re accounts.

NoPixel V is different. Invited NoPixel V players access the closed beta through the Rockstar Games Launcher.

That relationship is particularly interesting because Rockstar acquired Cfx.re, the team behind FiveM and RedM, in 2023. You can follow what this could eventually mean for the next Grand Theft Auto on our GTA 6 FiveM page.

Is NoPixel free to play?

NoPixel should not be thought of as a game that you simply purchase to gain admission.

NoPixel does offer paid supporter packages and Public Server Priority through its official store. Priority affects your position in the server queue; it should not be confused with purchasing an invitation to NoPixel V.

You cannot currently buy your way into the NoPixel V closed beta. NoPixel V access remains invitation-only.

How much does NoPixel priority cost?

NoPixel sells different priority tiers for its Public server through its official store. These are recurring packages that can improve your priority when joining the Public server queue.

Prices and available packages can change, so it’s better to check NoPixel’s official store for the current tiers rather than relying on an old price list.

Again, Public Server Priority is not the same thing as NoPixel V access. Buying Public priority does not guarantee an invitation to the NoPixel V closed beta.

Can you play NoPixel on PS5 or Xbox?

NoPixel is currently a PC GTA RP experience.

Traditional NoPixel servers use FiveM, which is a PC GTA V multiplayer modification framework. NoPixel V’s closed beta is also being distributed to invited players through the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC.

There is currently no announced PS5 or Xbox version of NoPixel V.

Is NoPixel V a GTA 6 server?

No. Despite the timing and Rockstar’s involvement, NoPixel V is a Grand Theft Auto V roleplay project.

Rockstar and NoPixel describe it as the next evolution of GTA V roleplay. NoPixel has rebuilt and expanded large parts of its experience, but it still takes place within GTA V.

There is currently no confirmed NoPixel GTA 6 server.

We’re tracking that separately on our NoPixel GTA 6 page, where we separate confirmed announcements from speculation.

Can you watch NoPixel without playing?

Absolutely. Watching NoPixel is how many people first discover GTA RP.

NoPixel V features hundreds of invited players and creators telling stories across the same shared version of Los Santos. Following different perspectives can completely change how you experience an ongoing storyline.

GTA Genius tracks NoPixel creators who are live on Twitch, so you can find someone playing without searching through individual channels.
