NoPixel is one of the best-known GTA roleplay communities and has featured many of the biggest GTA RP creators on Twitch and YouTube.

What is NoPixel?
NoPixel is a GTA V roleplay community built around FiveM. Players create characters and take part in a persistent world with police, criminals, businesses, emergency services and other player-controlled roles.
NoPixel has gone through several major generations. NoPixel 4.0 launched in December 2023, while NoPixel V was announced in September 2025 as a new roleplay project being created in collaboration with Rockstar Games.

How to join the NoPixel GTA RP server
NoPixel currently operates both allow-listed and public GTA RP servers.
The allow-listed server is the more controlled NoPixel experience. Players generally need to apply for access and meet the community’s requirements before being allowed to join.
NoPixel’s official FAQ includes guidance on how to apply for the whitelist, while the NoPixel forums currently list an Allow List 4.0 server alongside its public servers.
Application availability and requirements can change, so rather than relying on an old “open” or “closed” status, check the official NoPixel website and community Discord for the current application process.
What is NoPixel Public?
NoPixel Public offers a more accessible way to play in the NoPixel ecosystem without joining the main allow-listed server.
NoPixel’s current forum lists a Public – Green 4.0 server, and its official store continues to offer priority packages for the public server.

What are the rules on NoPixel?
NoPixel has detailed community and roleplay rules designed to keep the server consistent and enjoyable for players.
The exact rules can change over time, so it is better to read the current official rules before playing rather than relying on an old copied list.
In general, players are expected to remain in character, avoid disruptive behaviour, follow the server’s roleplay standards and comply with the platform and community rules that apply to them.
Breaking server rules can result in warnings, suspensions or bans depending on the situation.
What is NoPixel V?
NoPixel V is the next major NoPixel project and is being created in collaboration with Rockstar Games.
NoPixel’s official site currently lists hundreds of confirmed creators for NoPixel V and describes access as invitation-only.
This is particularly significant because Rockstar also owns Cfx.re, the team behind FiveM. It places Rockstar much closer to the GTA RP ecosystem than it was during the earlier years of NoPixel.

Will NoPixel come to GTA 6?
NoPixel has not announced a GTA VI server.
However, NoPixel’s collaboration with Rockstar and Rockstar’s ownership of Cfx.re make it one of the most important GTA RP communities to watch as GTA VI approaches.

Why is NoPixel so popular?
NoPixel became popular because it combines detailed custom systems with a large community of experienced roleplayers and streamers.
Viewers can follow the same story from several different perspectives: a criminal planning a robbery, the police officers investigating it, the lawyers handling the case and the other characters caught up in the aftermath.
That format helped turn GTA RP into a major Twitch category and made NoPixel one of the communities most closely associated with GTA roleplay.
