GTA 6 RP Servers: GTA VI Roleplay Server List

Looking for GTA 6 roleplay servers? Here’s the current GTA VI RP server status, what to expect and where you’ll be able to find servers when they actually launch.

Are there any GTA 6 RP servers?

No. There are currently no genuine GTA 6 RP servers. Grand Theft Auto VI has not been released yet, and Rockstar Games has not announced a GTA VI community server or roleplay platform.

GTA VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar currently describes the November release as a single-player experience, while a PC version has not yet been announced.

You may already find websites advertising “GTA 6 RP servers”, server lists and communities. These can be communities preparing for GTA VI, but they are not currently running playable GTA VI roleplay servers.

Last updated: August 2026. GTA Genius will turn this page into a live GTA 6 RP server directory when genuine GTA VI roleplay servers become available.

We won’t list placeholder or fictional servers as though they are playable GTA VI servers. When the ecosystem launches, we’ll track real communities, access requirements and the streamers playing on them.

When will GTA 6 RP servers launch?

There is currently no release date for GTA 6 RP servers.

Rockstar has not announced GTA VI Online, GTA VI roleplay support or a GTA VI version of FiveM. This means there is currently no official platform on which a GTA 6 RP server could operate.

It is also important that GTA VI is initially launching on consoles. The current FiveM platform used by GTA V roleplay servers operates on PC, and Rockstar has not yet announced GTA VI for PC.

For that reason, players shouldn’t assume GTA 6 RP servers will appear on November 19 alongside GTA VI itself. See our GTA 6 RP release date guide for the likely sequence of events and everything currently confirmed.

Will GTA 6 RP servers use FiveM?

We don’t know yet.

FiveM is the platform behind a huge number of GTA V roleplay servers. The interesting part is that Rockstar Games now owns Cfx.re, the team responsible for FiveM and RedM.

Rockstar acquired Cfx.re in 2023 and now officially recognises Cfx.re-supported community and roleplay servers. That puts the team responsible for today’s GTA RP ecosystem inside Rockstar ahead of GTA VI.

However, Rockstar and Cfx.re have not announced FiveM support for GTA VI. FiveM could eventually support the game, a separate platform could be created, or Rockstar could take community multiplayer in a completely different direction.

Why the GTA 6 PC release matters for RP servers

PC is one of the biggest unanswered parts of the GTA 6 RP story. GTA VI is currently announced only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, while the existing FiveM ecosystem operates on PC.

If GTA VI roleplay develops through something similar to FiveM, a PC version of GTA VI could be essential before traditional community-run RP servers can appear. Rockstar has not yet announced when GTA VI will come to PC or how community servers will work.

Will NoPixel have a GTA 6 RP server?

NoPixel has not announced a GTA VI server.

NoPixel is nevertheless one of the communities worth watching most closely. Its latest project, NoPixel V, is being created in collaboration with Rockstar Games.

NoPixel V is a GTA V roleplay experience and should not be confused with NoPixel for GTA VI. But the direct relationship between Rockstar and arguably the world’s best-known GTA RP community is significant for the future of roleplay.

How will GTA 6 RP servers work?

Until Rockstar reveals its plans, we can’t know exactly how GTA 6 roleplay servers will work.

Today’s GTA V RP servers give us an idea of what players will want. On FiveM, each server can operate as its own persistent world with custom characters, jobs, police departments, criminal organisations, businesses, economies, vehicles and rules.

Some servers are open to anybody, while others use a whitelist system where players must apply and demonstrate that they understand the server’s roleplay rules before being allowed to join.

Whether GTA VI eventually uses a similar community-server model remains unknown.

Will GTA 6 RP servers be free?

There is no confirmed GTA VI RP platform yet, so pricing and access have not been announced.

Most current GTA V FiveM roleplay servers can be joined without paying, although some communities offer paid queue priority or other optional benefits. Whitelisted servers may instead require an application before you can play.

We won’t know whether GTA VI follows the same model until Rockstar and Cfx.re reveal their plans.

Will GTA 6 RP servers be on PS5 and Xbox?

No console GTA 6 RP server support has been announced.

This creates an unusual situation. GTA VI launches first on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but the existing FiveM roleplay ecosystem is PC-based.

If Rockstar eventually integrates community servers or roleplay directly into GTA VI, console players could potentially be included. If GTA VI RP instead depends on a PC platform similar to today’s FiveM, players may have to wait for a PC release.

How to join a GTA 6 RP server

You can’t join a GTA 6 RP server yet because none currently exist.

When genuine servers become available, GTA Genius will add joining instructions for each major community to this directory. Depending on how GTA VI roleplay develops, this could include:

  • Installing the required GTA VI roleplay platform.
  • Finding a server that suits your style of RP.
  • Joining the server’s Discord community.
  • Reading its rules and roleplay requirements.
  • Completing a whitelist application where required.
  • Creating your first GTA VI RP character.

Until then, players interested in roleplay can learn the basics through existing GTA V RP servers.

GTA 6 RP server streamers

One of the easiest ways to discover a good GTA RP server is by watching the people who actually play there.

GTA Genius tracks GTA roleplay creators live on Twitch and already provides dedicated streamer listings for communities such as NoPixel.

When GTA VI RP servers become playable, this page will also surface live Twitch streams from GTA 6 roleplay servers so you can see which communities are active before deciding where to play. In the meantime, our GTA 6 RP streamers page tracks the creators most likely to be part of that transition.

GTA RP servers you can play now

You don’t need to wait for GTA VI to try GTA roleplay. Thousands of GTA V community servers already operate through FiveM.

The future of GTA 6 RP servers

GTA VI is arriving in a completely different roleplay landscape from GTA V.

When GTA V launched in 2013, the modern FiveM and Twitch-driven GTA RP scene did not exist. Today, roleplay is one of the biggest community-created ways to experience Grand Theft Auto.

Rockstar now owns Cfx.re, officially recognises its community server ecosystem and is collaborating directly with NoPixel.

None of that confirms GTA VI RP servers. But it means GTA 6 launches with Rockstar much more closely connected to roleplay than it was at the beginning of the GTA V generation.
